Responsibilities
Create scalable, reliable and maintainable web applications primarily using PHP
Implement web interfaces using XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Optimize and tune existing code to ensure that ResearchGate will scale
Requirements
Expert knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS)
Expert knowledge developing with PHP using Memcaches
Knowledge of No-SQL storage systems (MongoDB)
Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL)
Rapid learner who thrives in fast-paced environments
Very good command of English or German
